Welcome to Sara Ellis Designs, formerly "Diva On a Wire". Many of you already know me from my previous blog and YouTube channel. After taking a yearlong sabbatical, I am back and hopefully, better than ever!

For those of you who do not know me, I have been making jewelry for over 25 years and have worked professionally within the industry for several years. I am currently a proud designer for Beadalon, an internationally recognized brand and a "leading brand of innovative products for Do-It-Yourself jewelry making and crafts." Beadalon manufactures the largest selection of flexible bead stringing wire and wire wrapping supplies as well as offering the very best in jewelry making education. I have had the privilege to work with Beadalon for many years and wholeheartedly stand behind each and every one of their products. You will find Beadalon products featured in most, if not all, of my designs here. I love teaching jewelry design and have had the privilege to work as an instructor in a wide variety of settings (e.g., trade shows, on-air product demonstrating, live web-based show host, YouTube, etc.) with a strong emphasis on proper technique and product education. Here you will find links to my new YouTube channel where I will share free step-by-step projects. Cross reference this blog with each accompanying video to find product information, material lists and other important information that will be listed here to keep the videos as short and to the point as possible. Occasionally, step by step projects will be featured here without a YouTube video. Each project will have easy to follow written directions and corresponding photos.

There is an easy to use search feature that will make it easy for you to find previous projects. Every post will have a variety of easily searchable "tags" and each jewelry design will fall into one of my own three "collections" - which are more for me than you but also serve as an easy way to search.
